Many local fire departments, senior centers, or Area Agencies on Aging distribute the kits for free — a quick call to any of these is usually enough to find or start one locally, and often to get the community more broadly aware of the program.
Pair the vial with a small sticker on your front door or window, which many programs provide, so responders know to look for it.
